GIC Members Share Expertise at Industry Events
The GIC is privileged to have many professionals who have been asked to speak at industry events – a nod to the high caliber of our membership. Two of our members will present at the upcoming Motivation Show, which will be held September 25-27 in Chicago.

Kurt Hosna, International Product Development, Maritz Motivaiton and GIC member, will present “The New Global Workforce: Balancing Global Goals and Local Realities When Planning and Executing an Incentive or Recognition Program”, which will focus on the trend toward U.S.- based companies hiring abroad and the impact it has on incentive companies. Hosna will discuss how flexibility and the ability to adapt to local cultures and environments are critical in all steps of a program, from planning to execution and localization. His presentation will also talk about the increasingly individualistic attitudes of younger generation employees worldwide and the development of a more homogenous workforce.

Mike Arkes, President of Hinda Incentives & Helping Hand Rewards and GIC member, will also present at The Motivation Show. He will discuss how corporate social responsibility practices can influence incentive programs and add value for the sponsoring company and the recipient, while giving back to the community. Arkes will join a panel of successful social purpose businesses to discuss how they combine business with compelling social missions, such as employing disadvantaged individuals.

We encourage all industry professionals to attend these presentations at The Motivation Show and we will continue to update on future appearances featuring our members.
